Fort Lauderdale Fishing Charters, Fishing florida
The Lady Pamela II was out for all kinds of fishing action on Saturday, from trolling, to kite fishing. We started the day boating 5 nice blackfin tunas on the troll, fishing off the reef edge in 120 feet of water. We then moved a little further offshore, finding a bit of a tide rip and a school of dolphin. Our anglers had fun landing 8 keepers out of the school. Toward the end of the trip we threw the kites up and had a sailfish take what we had to offer! It was a quick fight, and after a little bit of jumping and thrashing, we got some photos and a sailfish release.
On Sunday all the action was around the reef for the Lady Pamela II. Trolling seawitch feathers with bonito strips, we had the kingfish and blackfin tunas battling it out for the baits. We would hook a kingfish, then a blackfin, then another blackfin, then another kingfish! Despite some thrown hooks and jumped off fish, our anglers ended up taking home a total of 5 blackfin tunas, and 3 kingfish. They also happened to boat a couple of dolphin after one pass into deeper water. Good fishing gang!
Tight lines,
