Kenny and his wife joined the Lady Pamela II today for a four hour inshore fishing charter. This great couple from Boca Raton went offshore with us last year but got seasick in rough seas so their trip was cut short. This year they wanted to turn their luck around with some inshore action. The goal for today was to catch some big tarpon or snook. Within the first half hour of the charter they hooked a big tarpon, about 130 lbs, and were able to tally a nice catch and release. About an hour later they hooked another big tarpon and were able to bring that one to the boat for another catch and release. In addition to the two big tarpon they caught a 6 ½ foot nurse shark and a couple of feisty jack crevalle. That’s the beauty about Ft. Lauderdale fishing; sometimes the inshore fishing can be as exciting as the offshore fishing!
