Ft Lauderdale Fishing
Captain JJ and mate Mike spent both morning and afternoon trips on the Lady Pamela II out sharkfishing off Ft. Lauderdale. They set fresh bonito baits on the bottom, mid-depth, and at the surface in 350 feet of water. Both trips produced hammerhead sharks, to the thrill and excitement of our anglers.
The Lady Pamela IV cruised the reef edge both north and south of Port Everglades Inlet and brought in blackfin tunas and a pile of bonitos. The blackfins and bonitos tend to school together, or in close proximity to each other, so you never know which one you are going to hook up. They have been particularly plentiful this spring, and we expect their numbers to stay high in the Ft. Lauderdale area through June if the weather does not get too hot.
