All attention is on sharks this week as the Discovery Channel’s popular series Shark Week is on again. Forget about the couch though, and get aboard the Lady Pamela II for real primetime shark action off Ft. Lauderdale! You never know what species we will run across. It could be a hammerhead, mako, sandbar, or feisty reef shark. Last week one of our lucky anglers hooked into a big thresher shark. This same time last year we fought an unknown monster for an hour before getting it close enough to see that it was a 9 foot, 400 pound Tiger shark. Tiger sharks are infrequently caught here, and most are about 3 to 4 feet long and about 60 lbs. This thing was just an awesome sea monster! Have I caught your interest?
