The Lady Pamela III drift boat was out on a Friday night anchor trip and the snapper action was nonstop. The fish started biting as soon as the chum hit the water. Our anglers were keeping the rods bent, bringing in 75 assorted snappers, including yellowtails, mangroves, and some nice muttons.

Captain David was busy Friday and Saturday, participating with the Advanced Roofing fishing team in the “Operation Sailfish” tournament held at Sailfish Marina, in Palm Beach. A portion of the proceeds from Operation Sailfish will be devoted to the military based charity, Operation Homefront. This four-star rated nonprofit organization provides emergency financial aid and other assistance to the families or our service members and wounded warriors. The Advanced Roofing Boat caught and released 23 sailfish during the tournament, taking home 1st place. Looks like David helped Advanced roofing off to a good start!

Operation Sailfish is the first leg of the three part Sailfish Tournament “Quest for the Crest” presented by Bluewater Movements. The event will brings together more than 50 elite sailfishing teams vying for an estimated prize purse of $500,000.
