The Lady Pamela II’s May 2014 sportfishing forecast off Fort Lauderdale is another toothy one, with the bonito, king mackerel and blackfin tuna bites expected to go into overdrive this month. We’ve been trolling seawitch feathers tipped with bonito strips on the reef edge this past week and it has been nonstop action with these predators.
Blue Marlin
The biggest news is that grouper season opened up today which means we can now keep all those big gag and black groupers we have had to release over the last few weeks. Look for a nice mix of snappers during our Lady Pamela III bottomfishing trips for grouper.

For those that want to battle the sea monsters, we saw plenty of hammerhead action last May out in 350 feet of water. We caught and released two 8 footers last week and expect these big fish to stay around for another month or so. Give us a call and let’s go fishing!!
