Lady Pamela II Sportfishing January 2014
All of us at Lady Pamela II sportfishing wish a Happy New Year 2014 to all of our angling friends and fans! For those of you who are not familiar with us, Lady Pamela II sportfishing is one of the oldest and most reputable charter fleets in Fort Lauderdale. As owner and captain, I am a third generation fisherman from Ft Lauderdale, who grew up fishing South Florida’s famous waters. At 26 years of age I am the youngest charter and tournament fishing captain in the area. Despite my age, I have extensive tournament and sportfishing fishing experience and am in demand as either a captain or mate on tournament boats.
I have assembled the Lady Pamela deep-sea sportfishing fleet to undertake every type of deep-sea fishing in the south Florida area and can accommodate anywhere from 6 to 24 anglers on my boats. The Lady Pamela II is a custom built 41 foot Hatteras sportfisherman that is rigged and ready for trolling, kite fishing, or bottom fishing. Lady Pamela II is the fastest charter boat in town, and we consistently outfish the competition, especially here in Fort Lauderdale and Miami, Florida.
Lady Pamela III is a 37’ Flybridge Sportfish, custom built by Stapleton Boat Works. It is a U.S. Coast Guard licensed and inspected fishing vessel with a maximum capacity of 24 passengers. It is the only sportfish/drift vessel operating in south Florida. The LP III is recognized for its spacious cockpit and fishing area. The bridge is loaded with top of the line electronics for superior safety.
Lady Pamela IV is the pride of the fleet. She is a custom built 46’ Hatteras sportfisherman with an elegantly appointed interior featuring comfortable furnishings and rich woodwork. Despite her elegance she is a fishing machine that is professionally rigged for high speed trolling, kite fishing, or electric reel fishing.
Lady Pamela IV is a 48’ Lemay Sportfish, the newest addition to the fleet. This is a 100% beautifully restored custom wooden-hulled vessel. She is ideally designed for overnight swordfish trips, where smooth running and comfort are a premium. Like a home away from home. She has a monstrous cockpit that is outfitted with four fighting chairs.
My captains, mates, and I love to fish and are ready to help you land that trophy catch. In 2013, we logged over 5,000 hours of fishing time, catching snappers, groupers, kingfish, wahoo, sailfish, sharks, and marlin. You name the fish, and I think we caught it last year! My team is also very involved in fishery conservation efforts, as we tagged and released over 100 each of billfish (sailfish and marlin) and sharks. If you happen to be in the Fort Lauderdale/South Florida area and feel like fishing we’ll do our best to give the experience of a lifetime. Give us a call.
Tight Lines,
Capt. David Ide
