June 2014

The Lady Pamela II’s June sportfishing forecast off Fort Lauderdale is a mixed bag, with a variety of good fishing opportunities. The longer days this month will provide ample time for bottomfishing, with red snapper, yellowtail and triggerfish topping the list. The Warsaw grouper bite should be strong around the wrecks, and redbelly rosefish and tilefish are plentiful on the deep drop. Blackfin tunas and kingfish can still be caught on the reef, though dolphin fishing will be hit or miss depending on water temperature. Best bets for dolphin will on the 8 am – 12 pm morning charters. Just a reminder that Father’s Day is on the 15th. Give us a call and take your dad out fishing!
