Bud and his wife Mary from Fort Worth, Texas joined Captain Paul and Mike aboard the Lady Pamela II for a deep sea fishing adventure in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Bud fished many places with very little success; it all changed when he came fishing in Fort Lauderdale. Captain Paul led Bud and Mary offshore, catching live bullets (small bonitos) for bait. In the mist of bait fishing, a 20lb Bull Dolphin hooked itself to the spinner with 20lb test, talk about a nice fight. Mike pitched bait on another spinner and hooked a 15 lb’er. Shortly after, a 12 lb Mahi ate the left planner so we had 3 fish on at one time. After successfully boating all three Dolphin fish, there was a straggler Mahi still lingering behind the boat, but wouldn’t eat any live bait. Mike tied a jig on, got it out there and started jigging fast. Mike made it happen and finally hooked the 14 lb Dolphin fish and Bud brought it in. Within 20 minutes, we landed 4 slammer size Mahi – Mahi in 120 ft of water right offshore Fort Lauderdale Beach, Florida.
