Fishing Ft Lauderdale , FOrt lauderdale fishing Trips
Today Mike and I fished on the Lady Pamela II as part of a three boat convention. The fishing started out slow in the morning so we tried bottom fishing on a few different shipwrecks angling for some fresh fish for dinner. We then went out sharkfishing, using fresh kingfish and bonitos as bait hoping for the big one. After 1 hour of soaking the baits we finally hooked a monster. Jimmy jumped in the chair for a fight of his life, and after an hour workout he reeled in a 300 lb hammerhead shark. After a catch like that everybody was ready to go home early and celebrate at the dock.
The Lady Pamela II sportfishing fleet was busy this afternoon as well, despite a little bit of chop and some breezy conditions. The Lady Pamela II and the Lady Pamela III both caught mahi-mahi and sailfish while fishing in about 220 feet of water. The LP III also caught a huge sandbar shark to round out today’s fishing. We’re expecting great weather for the weekend, let’s go hook’em up!
