Hurry Fort Lauderdale at its best so join us aboard the lady pamela 2

Captain Adam took Paul and his group of friends out on the Lady Pamela III for nighttime snapper fishing. The group caught a nice variety of snappers including 6 yellowtails, 6 mangroves, two muttons, some lanes and a few vermillion snappers during the 7-11 pm trip.

The Lady Pamela II was out today on an all day trip. They caught 20 bonitos and a wahoo before calling it a day.

I skippered the Lady Pamela IV with Corey and his family from Jacksonville aboard. We were busy on this morning trip with our anglers landing 4 blackfin tunas, a kingfish, and a few bonitos.

On the afternoon trip we took out Robert and his two sons from Dallas, Texas. The fishing was slow but we got it done with a couple of tunas that they took home to eat. Robert really wanted us to get his young son a shark, so during the last 20 minutes of the charter we pulling a live bonito down the beach. We succeeded in hooking and landing a spinner shark that put up one hell of a fight.

Folks don’t forget that August and September are great months for fishing here in Fort Lauderdale. The sandbar shark migration is still to come in August, and Mako and thrasher sharks start moving through in September. Mahi-mahi, wahoos, cobias and Warsaw groupers are also an option at this time of year.

Tight Lines,

Capt. David Ide
