Mid January Sailfish Report – Fort Lauderdale Fishing
On Monday, Jared and his wife joined the Lady Pamela II for a deep sea fishing adventure they’ll never forget while vacationing in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Conditions couldn’t have been better for the Sailfish bite; a NW wind blowing 15-20, talk about cold. Jared and his wife were brave, however, they have Canadian blood and were probably laughing at us Floridian’s shiver in 40 degree weather. We headed out Port Everglades with our survival gear on (lots of layers) and a well full of goggle eyes. We went 4 for 7 on the Atlantic Sailfish right out in front of the Inlet, Jared and his wife both went in for seconds. We topped off the day with a King Mackerel, a Mahi in the box and two extremely happy anglers.
Tight Lines!
