We had the opportunity to work with the “Cops and Kids” foundation this past week before Hurricane Matthew set eyes on our area.  This is a great organization for under privileged children and here at Lady Pamela Sportfishing we love taking kids fishing. On this trip we had about 35 children along with their supervisors.  Along with our captain and mates, we set sail to put the kids on some bottom fishing including snapper, triggerfish, grouper and more.
On young kid fishing trips, it is important to make sure no one is left out and there is action.  Safety is also our concern and in many cases we will provide more than 1 mate to ensure there is enough supervision throughout the boat.
Everyone had a great time catching muttons snapper, runners, small kingfish, trigger fish and more.
