The fishing this past week has been awesome with lots of bonitos around hitting baits on every one of our morning trolling trips. The afternoon trips have been producing kingfish and blackfin tuna along with a few mahi-mahi.
The highlight has been the kitefishing associated with a nice breeze blowing out of the southeast. We have been landing sailfish in about 250 feet of water and hammerheads in about 350 feet of water. It has really been a trophy week with Lady Pamela II sportfishing, with Eric from Michigan, Marie from Minnesota, Carl from Connecticut, and Stephen from Indiana all landing big hammerheads. Shari and Todd from Michigan also released an 83” sailfish. All of these anglers are getting mounts made of these fish to memorialize their fishing success. It was great to have you all on board!
Some other notable catches include a dusky shark, and big lemon shark, and a monster thresher shark (over 10 feet) that were all caught and released. The weather continues to be great and the fishing is oh so good! Give us a call!
Tight Lines,
Capt. David Ide
