The Lady Pamela II sportfishing boat was out today with Captain David at the helm. It looked like the day was off to a good start with a sailfish hookup. Our angler was in the fighting chair ready for action when the fish threw the hook. It was a tough loss but our angler at least got a chance to test the fighting chair. The LP II’s fighting chair is unique in that it is positioned above the transom and extends up over the back of the boat. The angler has a full view of the fishing action, and when they look down, they are over the water! It is really an exhilarating fishing experience.

Captain David moved the boat along the reef edge and got our anglers a couple of nice bonitos which he took off shore to use for shark bait. It was a good move as a 5 foot hammerhead took the bait and got our angler back in the fighting chair. This time it was solid hookup and the fish was brought to the boat, photographed, then released. It turned out to be a nice all around.
