Tonight we had a nice weeknight tarpon fishing trip on the Lady Pamela II. We started the night off with a big jack and a barracuda within the first half-hour of the fishing trip. About two hours into the trip we finally hooked up a six footer tarpon that easily topped 100 lbs. Our angler fought this fish for over 15 minutes and it made a bunch of beautiful jumps. Unfortunately that last jump was a little too good as it spit the hook and swam away. We stayed out for another hour but could not get a bite.
